Community Outreach Ministries is responsible for the following ministries in the Bolivar community:

• Life House transitional housing facility
• Food Pantry affiliated with Ozarks Food Harvest
• Car Care Ministry
• Thrift Store

Salvation Army

The Salvation Army works closely with the Community Outreach Ministries. You can help to raise funds for their activities by participating in the Kettle Bell Ringing campaign. Ring the bell or deposit money in a kettle. 85% of the funds dropped into the kettles here come back to Bolivar.

Polk County Christian Social Ministries

Polk County Christian Social Ministries serves the community through their clothing center and through the annual Share Your Christmas program.

• Clothing Center to distribute clothing to needy families.
• Share Your Christmas to share Christmas meals and gifts with families in the Bolivar community

House of Hope

Polk County House of Hope provides immediate and long-term safety to victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children. A box for donated paper goods is in the church.
